The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Myaung Mya plotted against Ayeyarwady and Myanmar. The SNDi of new construction in Myaung Mya rose steadily, compared to Ayeyarwady which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Myanmar which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Myaung Mya's incremental SNDi rose from 6.42 to 8.13 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Myaung Mya ranked 13th out of 18 cities in Ayeyarwady and 106th out of 113 in Myanmar as of 2020.

In new street additions, Myaung Mya and Koforidua both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Surak built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Myaung Mya and Koforidua both became progressively more disconnected, while Surak became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Notably, Myaung Mya had a more connected network than Surak in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
