The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Maubin plotted against Ayeyarwady and Myanmar. The SNDi of new construction in Maubin followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Ayeyarwady which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Myanmar which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Maubin's incremental SNDi fell from 2.77 to 2.54 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Maubin ranked 2nd out of 18 cities in Ayeyarwady and 28th out of 113 in Myanmar as of 2020.

In new street additions, Maubin fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Nagapattinam fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Surak built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Maubin became progressively more connected, while Nagapattinam fluctuated in connectivity and Surak became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Maubin and Nagapattinam have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
