The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Monapo plotted against Nampula and Mozambique. The SNDi of new construction in Monapo followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Nampula which rose steadily and Mozambique which rose steadily. Most recently, Monapo's incremental SNDi rose from 3.51 to 3.58 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Monapo ranked 3rd out of 5 cities in Nampula and 36th out of 44 in Mozambique as of 2020.

In new street additions, Monapo and Bozene both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Huzhen fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Monapo and Bozene both became progressively more disconnected, while Huzhen fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Monapo had a more sprawly network than Bozene in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
