The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Chókwè plotted against Gaza and Mozambique. The SNDi of new construction in Chókwè followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Gaza which rose steadily and Mozambique which rose steadily. Most recently, Chókwè's incremental SNDi rose from 1.4 to 1.55 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Chókwè ranked 2nd out of 3 cities in Gaza and 3rd out of 44 in Mozambique as of 2020.

In new street additions, Chókwè and Büyükpınar both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Mamunkanjan built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Chókwè and Mamunkanjan both became progressively more disconnected, while Büyükpınar fluctuated in connectivity. Chókwè and Mamunkanjan have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
