The SNDi of new construction in Taroudant followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Souss - Massa - Draâ which peaked in 1976-1990 and Morocco which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Taroudant's incremental SNDi fell from 4.56 to 2.8 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Taroudant fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Midyat built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and koya built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Taroudant fluctuated in connectivity, while Midyat became progressively more connected and koya became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
