The SNDi of new construction in M'Rirt was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Meknès - Tafilalet which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease and Morocco which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, M'Rirt's incremental SNDi rose from 1.32 to 2.05 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, M'Rirt and Kedougou both built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Lal Qilla fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, M'Rirt became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards, while Kedougou became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Lal Qilla fluctuated in connectivity. M'Rirt and Kedougou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
