The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Córdoba plotted against Veracruz and México. The SNDi of new construction in Córdoba rose steadily, compared to Veracruz which rose steadily and México which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Córdoba's incremental SNDi rose from 5.13 to 5.83 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Córdoba ranked 13th out of 14 cities in Veracruz and 162nd out of 182 in México as of 2020.

In new street additions, Córdoba built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Aarhus fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Amarshi built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Córdoba and Aarhus both became progressively more disconnected, while Amarshi became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Córdoba and Aarhus have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
