In new street additions, Ciudad Hidalgo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while 益农村 fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Balqaş built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. Looking at the full network, 益农村 and Balqaş both became progressively more connected, while Ciudad Hidalgo fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Ciudad Hidalgo had a more connected network than Balqaş in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
