The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Cintalapa plotted against Chiapas and México. The SNDi of new construction in Cintalapa rose steadily, compared to Chiapas which rose steadily and México which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Cintalapa's incremental SNDi rose from 3.24 to 3.6 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Cintalapa ranked 1st out of 6 cities in Chiapas and 31st out of 182 in México as of 2020.

In new street additions, Cintalapa built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Brčko built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Baragashi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Cintalapa and Brčko both became progressively more disconnected, while Baragashi fluctuated in connectivity.
