In new street additions, San José del Cabo built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Simi Valley built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Robe built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Simi Valley and Robe both became progressively more disconnected, while San José del Cabo became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. San José del Cabo and Simi Valley have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
