The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ciudad Constitución plotted against Baja California Sur and México. The SNDi of new construction in Ciudad Constitución was at its lowest in 1976-1990, compared to Baja California Sur which was at its lowest in 1991-2005 and México which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ciudad Constitución's incremental SNDi rose from 1.01 to 1.02 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. Ciudad Constitución, Qingmuguan, and Yumbe all built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns in new street construction. Looking at the full network, Qingmuguan and Yumbe both became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Ciudad Constitución became progressively more connected. Ciudad Constitución and Qingmuguan have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
