What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Valletta and Qazvin both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Montpellier built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Valletta and Qazvin both became progressively more disconnected, while Montpellier grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Valletta and Qazvin have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
