The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Zégoua plotted against Sikasso and Mali. The SNDi of new construction in Zégoua rose steadily, compared to Sikasso which rose steadily and Mali which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Zégoua's incremental SNDi rose from 1.62 to 2.66 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Zégoua ranked 3rd out of 5 cities in Sikasso and 10th out of 22 in Mali as of 2020.

In new street additions, Zégoua built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Ambohitrimanjaka built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Kouroussa fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Zégoua and Kouroussa both became progressively more disconnected, while Ambohitrimanjaka grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
