The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kadiolo plotted against Sikasso and Mali. The SNDi of new construction in Kadiolo rose steadily, compared to Sikasso which rose steadily and Mali which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Kadiolo's incremental SNDi rose from 2.72 to 5.21 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kadiolo ranked 5th out of 5 cities in Sikasso and 18th out of 22 in Mali as of 2020.

In new street additions, Kadiolo and Matsulu both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Didouche Mourad fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Kadiolo and Matsulu both became progressively more disconnected, while Didouche Mourad became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Kadiolo and Matsulu have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
