The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Antsirabe plotted against Antananarivo and Madagascar. The SNDi of new construction in Antsirabe followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Antananarivo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Madagascar which rose steadily. Most recently, Antsirabe's incremental SNDi rose from 2.58 to 3.31 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Antsirabe ranked 1st out of 4 cities in Antananarivo and 7th out of 21 in Madagascar as of 2020.

While Esperanza and Tungan Fulani both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Antsirabe fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Esperanza and Tungan Fulani both became progressively more disconnected, while Antsirabe fluctuated in connectivity. Antsirabe and Esperanza have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
