The SNDi of new construction in Pristina rose steadily, while Kosovo peaked in 1991-2005. Most recently, Pristina's incremental SNDi rose from 5.16 to 5.32 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Pristina ranked 3rd out of 6 in Kosovo as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
While Ruzhou and Xinji both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Pristina built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Ruzhou and Xinji both fluctuated in connectivity, while Pristina became progressively more disconnected. Pristina and Ruzhou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
