The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Gjakova plotted against Đakovica and Kosovo. The SNDi of new construction in Gjakova followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Đakovica which rose steadily and Kosovo which peaked in 1991-2005. Most recently, Gjakova's incremental SNDi rose from 4.75 to 5.88 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Gjakova fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Wenxi built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Buheung-dong built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Gjakova and Buheung-dong both became progressively more disconnected, while Wenxi became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Gjakova and Wenxi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
