The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Jezqazğan plotted against Qaraghandy and Kazakhstan. The SNDi of new construction in Jezqazğan followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Qaraghandy which peaked in 1976-1990 and Kazakhstan which rose steadily. Most recently, Jezqazğan's incremental SNDi fell from 2.36 to 1.96 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Jezqazğan ranked 5th out of 5 cities in Qaraghandy and 14th out of 32 in Kazakhstan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Jezqazğan and Khajni both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Rybnitsa built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Jezqazğan became progressively more connected, while Rybnitsa became progressively more disconnected and Khajni fluctuated in connectivity. Jezqazğan and Rybnitsa have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
