The SNDi of new construction in Al Mafraq peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Mafraq which was at its lowest in 1991-2005 and Jordan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease. Most recently, Al Mafraq's incremental SNDi fell from 1.89 to 1.84 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Al Mafraq built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Totonicapán built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Jagraon built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Totonicapán and Jagraon both became progressively more disconnected, while Al Mafraq grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Al Mafraq and Jagraon have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
