The SNDi of new construction in Ueda rose steadily, compared to Nagano which peaked in 1976-1990 and Japan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ueda's incremental SNDi rose from 2.91 to 3.68 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Ueda built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Juchitán built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Ugbokolo fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Ueda became progressively more disconnected, while Juchitán became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards and Ugbokolo fluctuated in connectivity. Ueda and Juchitán have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
