In new street additions, Lucca built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Phước Vĩnh built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Capanema fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Lucca and Capanema both became progressively more disconnected, while Phước Vĩnh became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Lucca had a more connected network than Phước Vĩnh in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
