In new street additions, Piacenza and Akkaraipattu both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Crato fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Crato and Akkaraipattu both became progressively more disconnected, while Piacenza grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Piacenza had a more sprawly network than Crato in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
