The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Xebat plotted against Ninawa and Iraq. The SNDi of new construction in Xebat followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Ninawa which peaked in 1991-2005 and Iraq which peaked in 1976-1990. Most recently, Xebat's incremental SNDi rose from 3.07 to 3.44 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Xebat ranked 6th out of 12 cities in Ninawa and 72nd out of 86 in Iraq as of 2020.

In new street additions, Xebat fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Koro built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Progreso built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Xebat fluctuated in connectivity, while Koro became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Progreso became progressively more disconnected. Xebat and Koro have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
