What about similarly populated cities?
While Palanpur and Aydin both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Al-Shatrah built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Palanpur and Aydin both became progressively more disconnected, while Al-Shatrah grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Al-Shatrah and Palanpur have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
