In new street additions, Mahabad built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Mufulira fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Xiapu fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Mahabad became progressively more disconnected, while Mufulira fluctuated in connectivity and Xiapu fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Mahabad had a more connected network than Mufulira in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
