The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Firuzeh plotted against Razavi Khorasan and Iran. The SNDi of new construction in Firuzeh followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Razavi Khorasan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Iran which rose steadily. Most recently, Firuzeh's incremental SNDi fell from 3.35 to 2.51 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Firuzeh ranked 8th out of 9 cities in Razavi Khorasan and 129th out of 169 in Iran as of 2020.

In new street additions, Firuzeh fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Loning built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Zhongxing Road fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Firuzeh became progressively more connected, while Loning grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Zhongxing Road fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Firuzeh had a more sprawly network than Zhongxing Road in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
