In new street additions, Esfarayen built increasingly connected streets over time, while Zacatecoluca built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Três Corações built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Zacatecoluca and Três Corações both became progressively more disconnected, while Esfarayen became progressively more connected. Notably, Esfarayen had a more sprawly network than Zacatecoluca in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
