The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Saveh plotted against Markazi and Iran. The SNDi of new construction in Saveh followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Markazi which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Iran which rose steadily. Most recently, Saveh's incremental SNDi fell from 3.82 to 3.6 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Saveh ranked 3rd out of 3 cities in Markazi and 128th out of 169 in Iran as of 2020.

In new street additions, Saveh fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Pithoragarh built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Chucko fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Pithoragarh and Chucko both became progressively more disconnected, while Saveh became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Saveh and Pithoragarh have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
