The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kazerun plotted against Fars and Iran. The SNDi of new construction in Kazerun followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Fars which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Iran which rose steadily. Most recently, Kazerun's incremental SNDi rose from 2.74 to 3.39 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kazerun ranked 3rd out of 11 cities in Fars and 68th out of 169 in Iran as of 2020.

In new street additions, Kazerun fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Marromeu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Meru built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Kazerun and Marromeu have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
