In new street additions, Maragheh built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Xiapu fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Ed Dueim fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Maragheh and Ed Dueim both became progressively more disconnected, while Xiapu fluctuated in connectivity. Maragheh and Ed Dueim have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
