The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lahat plotted against Sumatera Selatan and Indonesia. The SNDi of new construction in Lahat followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Sumatera Selatan which peaked in 1991-2005 and Indonesia which rose steadily. Most recently, Lahat's incremental SNDi rose from 5.29 to 6.34 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lahat ranked 7th out of 11 cities in Sumatera Selatan and 251st out of 366 in Indonesia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Lahat and Tongzi both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Malakal built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Lahat became progressively more disconnected, while Malakal grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Tongzi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Lahat had a more connected network than Tongzi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
