In new street additions, Bengkalis built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Qianku fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Isa fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Bengkalis became progressively more disconnected, while Qianku fluctuated in connectivity and Isa fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Bengkalis had a more connected network than Qianku in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
