The SNDi of new construction in Kuala Kapuas followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Kalimantan Tengah which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Indonesia which rose steadily. In new street additions, Kuala Kapuas fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Chiang Rai built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Qardho built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Kuala Kapuas fluctuated in connectivity, while Chiang Rai became progressively more disconnected and Qardho became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
