The SNDi of new construction in Ngawi followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Jawa Timur which rose steadily and Indonesia which rose steadily. In new street additions, Ngawi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Cumbaya built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Ghatal built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Ngawi and Ghatal both became progressively more disconnected, while Cumbaya grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Ngawi and Ghatal have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
