The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Majalengka plotted against Jawa Barat and Indonesia. The SNDi of new construction in Majalengka followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Jawa Barat which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Indonesia which rose steadily. Most recently, Majalengka's incremental SNDi rose from 4.84 to 5.86 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Majalengka fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Jianyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Varese built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Majalengka and Varese both became progressively more disconnected, while Jianyang fluctuated in connectivity. Majalengka and Varese have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
