The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Karangampel plotted against Jawa Barat and Indonesia. The SNDi of new construction in Karangampel peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Jawa Barat which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Indonesia which rose steadily. Most recently, Karangampel's incremental SNDi fell from 4.97 to 4.35 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Karangampel ranked 6th out of 38 cities in Jawa Barat and 112th out of 366 in Indonesia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Karangampel and Wudi both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Quibala built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Karangampel became progressively more disconnected, while Wudi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Quibala became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Karangampel and Wudi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
