The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hegarsari plotted against Jawa Barat and Indonesia. The SNDi of new construction in Hegarsari followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Jawa Barat which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Indonesia which rose steadily. Most recently, Hegarsari's incremental SNDi rose from 6.93 to 7.2 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Hegarsari ranked 34th out of 38 cities in Jawa Barat and 358th out of 366 in Indonesia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Hegarsari fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Indramayu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Lenasia built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Hegarsari and Indramayu both became progressively more disconnected, while Lenasia became progressively more connected. Hegarsari and Lenasia have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
