The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Cirebon plotted against Jawa Barat and Indonesia. The SNDi of new construction in Cirebon followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Jawa Barat which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Indonesia which rose steadily. Most recently, Cirebon's incremental SNDi rose from 4.62 to 5.56 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Cirebon ranked 12th out of 38 cities in Jawa Barat and 211th out of 366 in Indonesia as of 2020.

In new street additions, Cirebon fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Xuzhou built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Jilin City built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Cirebon and Jilin City both became progressively more disconnected, while Xuzhou became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Cirebon and Xuzhou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
