The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Bumihayu plotted against Jawa Barat and Indonesia. The SNDi of new construction in Bumihayu peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Jawa Barat which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Indonesia which rose steadily. Most recently, Bumihayu's incremental SNDi fell from 5.09 to 4.65 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Bumihayu ranked 16th out of 38 cities in Jawa Barat and 240th out of 366 in Indonesia as of 2020.

What about similarly populated cities?
While Tefé and Pacajus both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Bumihayu built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved in new street additions. For the full network, Bumihayu and Pacajus both became progressively more disconnected, while Tefé fluctuated in connectivity.
