The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Parghumti plotted against West Bengal and India. The SNDi of new construction in Parghumti followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to West Bengal which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Parghumti's incremental SNDi fell from 8.16 to 7.15 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Parghumti fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Beruniy built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Teng built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Parghumti fluctuated in connectivity, while Beruniy became progressively more disconnected and Teng became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Parghumti and Beruniy have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
