The SNDi of new construction in Bolpur rose steadily, compared to West Bengal which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bolpur's incremental SNDi rose from 5.25 to 6.21 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Bolpur and Tirwaganj both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Gu'an fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Bolpur and Tirwaganj both became progressively more disconnected, while Gu'an grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Bolpur and Gu'an have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
