The SNDi of new construction in Greater Noida was at its lowest in 1991-2005, compared to Uttar Pradesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Greater Noida's incremental SNDi rose from 3.72 to 3.85 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. What about similarly populated cities?
While Sirsa and Basel both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Greater Noida built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Sirsa and Basel both became progressively more disconnected, while Greater Noida became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Greater Noida and Sirsa have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
