The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Chakia plotted against Uttar Pradesh and India. The SNDi of new construction in Chakia followed a zig-zag trend, compared to Uttar Pradesh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Chakia's incremental SNDi rose from 3.17 to 14.11 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Chakia fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kladno built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Jalgaon Jamod built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Kladno and Jalgaon Jamod both became progressively more disconnected, while Chakia fluctuated in connectivity. Chakia and Kladno have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
