The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Almora plotted against Uttarakhand and India. The SNDi of new construction in Almora rose steadily, compared to Uttarakhand which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Almora's incremental SNDi rose from 7.24 to 8.28 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Almora ranked 19th out of 20 cities in Uttarakhand and 1788th out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

While Söke and Kaghaznagar both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Almora built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend.
