The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Khammam plotted against Telangana and India. While Telangana and India both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Khammam's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Khammam's incremental SNDi rose from 3.25 to 4.18 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Khammam and Al Wadi both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Dongtai built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Khammam became progressively more disconnected, while Al Wadi fluctuated in connectivity and Dongtai grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Khammam and Al Wadi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
