The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Devarakonda plotted against Telangana and India. The SNDi of new construction in Devarakonda fell steadily, compared to Telangana which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Devarakonda's incremental SNDi fell from 3.09 to 1.25 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Devarakonda ranked 17th out of 47 cities in Telangana and 356th out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Devarakonda built increasingly connected streets over time, while Trnava built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Aldershot fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Trnava and Aldershot both became progressively more disconnected, while Devarakonda became progressively more connected. Notably, Devarakonda had a more sprawly network than Aldershot in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
