The SNDi of new construction in Vandavasi rose steadily, compared to Tamil Nadu which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. In new street additions, Vandavasi and Medak both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Longxu fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Vandavasi and Medak both became progressively more disconnected, while Longxu grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Vandavasi and Longxu have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
