The SNDi of new construction in Tenkasi rose steadily, compared to Tamil Nadu which rose steadily and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Tenkasi's incremental SNDi rose from 7.18 to 7.46 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Tenkasi built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Xin'an fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Troyes built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Tenkasi and Troyes both became progressively more disconnected, while Xin'an grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Tenkasi and Xin'an have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
