The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Pollachi plotted against Tamil Nadu and India. While Tamil Nadu and India both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Pollachi's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Pollachi's incremental SNDi rose from 3.49 to 4.04 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Pollachi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Moçâmedes fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Lausanne built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Pollachi and Lausanne both became progressively more disconnected, while Moçâmedes became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Pollachi and Moçâmedes have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
