The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Mahwa plotted against Rajasthan and India. The SNDi of new construction in Mahwa followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Rajasthan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and India which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Mahwa's incremental SNDi fell from 2.4 to 1.64 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Mahwa ranked 10th out of 95 cities in Rajasthan and 103rd out of 1868 in India as of 2020.

In new street additions, Mahwa and Nabarangapur both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Minqin fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Mahwa and Nabarangapur both fluctuated in connectivity, while Minqin became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Mahwa had a more sprawly network than Minqin in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
